Hey eveyone, well Christmas is over and it's time to get ready for the new year.  I visited some family over the holiday, this was fun.  Well, except that all the kids had pink eye the whole time we were there, one of the kids got the flu and now Jessica is really sick.  Other than all that... It was relaxing and fun.

Now it's time to start rehearsing and practicing for the new year.  Today is a teaching day, and tomorrow is an all day and night rehearsal with Farewell Typewriter.  We are making demo's of all our new material, getting all the songs ready for recording in 2009.

Next show is January 7th, should be a good one.

Alright, more about my plans for 2009 later.  Keep it real!!!  STEVe

Holiday Jazz Gigs

Yo peeps, so yesterday morning I played another Holiday Jazz gig.  These gigs are usually very cheesy, but this one had an unusually cheesy twist, Holiday/Christmas jazz songs.  That right, they wanted us to play holiday songs, like Here Comes Santa Claus, Silent Night, We Wish You a Merry Xmas, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year...  Anyhow, besides the cheese factor it was a great show.

I met a new bass player, Aaron Shaul, he was good and easy to work with.  Hopefully we'll be playing together again soon.

Here's a video from the show, us tucked away in a back corner playing cheesy Xmas songs, and having fun doing it.
