New Year

Hey everyone, I am sitting around playing with my new Ableton Live program, waiting for my partner to give birth to our first child, who is now four days overdue. Life can be so weird.

I had a rehearsal with my new surf rock band called Aloha Screwdriver. This band has Grant Shellen (singer for Farewell Typewriter) on bass and my good friend Donald Bell (AKA Chachi Jones) on guitar. It's instrumental surf, spy, sci-fi. Stay tuned for tracks and a web site to check out.

I also booked two killer show's in February. First one is at South 1st Billiards in San Jose on Friday, February 6th. Farewell Typewriter will be opening for The Shebangs, my good friend Dana Guerin plays drums for them. The second one is at Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco, on Saturday February 12th. With Blackstone Heist and Atomic Love Bombs. Both show's are going to be great and I would recommend seeing both or at least one. Not sure if having a kid will change the way I play, but I think after taking some time off I am going to be really excited to get back on stage.
