House parties...

Well, Farewell Typewriter played our first house party on July 4th. I have to say we had a great time. We played our three hour set, the one we will be playing in Yosemite on July 18th. This consists of about 50 songs broken up into 3 sets. It's tiring to play that much music in one sitting, but because we were in a house we had to play pretty soft so that cuts down on the tiredness... and the sweatiness. You know, like walking instead of running :)

Not much to really say about that except that it was a good time. We sold a bunch of tshirts and CD's, and hopefully made a bunch of new fans.

Next Farewell Typewriter is playing at Cafe Du Nord. That's July 7th, opening for Miniature Tigers. Playing before us will be our friends, All My Pretty Ones. Hopefully you can all make it out to that show.
