GIGS

Arighty, since recording the new Farewell Typewriter album there have been two very cool gigs that have happened.

The first was with Farewell Typewriter at The Red Devil Lounge. We played with our old friends Moneybrother, they are from Sweden. So, needless to say the place was packed full Swedes. Farewell Typewriter played very well on that tiny stage. It was a great time, people were dancing and singing... Also, we sold more CD's than usual. Probably in part due to our new $5 or best offer deal.

The second show was with Park St. Trio at S.N.O.B. Wine Bar in San Francisco. This was an interesting show. We were playing for free which kind of sucks, but is still better than sitting around watching TV. People walked in throughout the night, listened to the music, drank wine and cheese, having a grand old time. We just rolled through jazz standards out of the real book. We played for about 4 hours, with breaks. It was really fun and the wine was bomb. We will be playing there again soon.

Alright, it's off to practice. Next show... Oct. 22nd at Speizakammer in Alameda. Park St. Trio with guests. Come hang out.
